Description

The Emulsion-Safe Standard for On-Press Cleaning

Standard press washes remove ink effectively — but many also degrade the emulsion if left on the screen too long or used repeatedly. ICC 887 is specifically engineered to clean plastisol ink without attacking the emulsion stencil. This allows it to be used throughout a production run without concern for stencil damage.

For shops that reuse screens across multiple production runs without full reclaim between uses, ICC 887 enables routine on-press cleaning that extends the life of expensive stencils.

Emulsion-Safe Chemistry

Specifically formulated to remove ink without degrading the emulsion stencil. Safe for repeated on-press use throughout a production run.

Spray or Wipe Application

Versatile application method — spray directly on screen mesh for quick application or pour onto a rag for wipe-on cleanup. Adapts to press configuration and personal preference.

Fast Action

Breaks down plastisol ink quickly for production-speed cleanup between color changes and at shift end.

ICC Product Line

Part of the ICC chemical line alongside ICC 926 Premium Spray/Wipe (non-flammable), ICC 888 (economy degradent), and ICC 931 (emulsion-safe degradent).

What’s Included

  • ICC 887 Spray/Wipe™ On-Press Cleaner (Quart or 5 Gallon)
  • Safety Data Sheet (PDF)

Between Color Changes

Apply or spray on screen mesh between color changes to remove residual ink quickly without risking stencil damage.

Long-Run Screen Maintenance

Apply periodically during long production runs to keep mesh open and ink flowing cleanly — without removing the stencil.

Stencil Reuse

For screens being used across multiple production runs, regular ICC 887 cleaning between uses removes ink while leaving the emulsion stencil intact.

On-Press Tool Cleanup

Use on squeegees, flood bars, and press platens for quick cleanup during and after production.
