Description

The Industry’s First Non-Hazardous Granular Emulsion Remover.

ICC 8470 D-solv-ER dissolves in water like any concentrate, but the granule format is non-caustic, low VOC, and non-hazardous — making it safer to ship, store, and handle than traditional liquid concentrates.

Key Features

🧪

Granular Concentrate Format

The first granular emulsion remover in the industry. Non-hazardous by classification, avoiding the shipping and storage restrictions that apply to many liquid concentrates.

Fast 10–30 Second Dwell

Typical dwell time for standard emulsion is just 10–30 seconds, making this one of the fastest-acting emulsion removers in the ICC lineup.

🔍

Non-Caustic & Low VOC

No caustic agents and low VOC levels improve operator safety and air quality in the screen room.

💰

Drain Safe & Eco-Friendly

Designed to meet sewer system and regulatory preferences. Supports responsible wastewater practices.

How to Use

1
Prepare the Solution
Measure the appropriate amount of ICC 8470 granules and add to water per the dilution ratio on the label. Stir until all granules are fully dissolved.
2
Ensure Screen Is Ink-Free
Remove all ink from the screen before applying emulsion remover for best results.
3
Apply to Both Sides
Apply the prepared solution to both sides of the screen using a brush or scrub pad. Ensure even coverage.
4
Dwell 10–30 Seconds
Allow to dwell. For heavily locked areas, increase dwell time and agitate with a scrub pad.
5
Scrub and Rinse
Scrub with a Biggee™ pad or scrub brush, then rinse both sides thoroughly with high-pressure water.
6
Inspect
Check for remaining emulsion or ghost images. Repeat if needed.
