Matsui DS Hybrid Pre-Digital White is a high-performance water-based white underbase ink designed for digital hybrid screen printing systems that simplifies your workflow. Unlike DS Hybrid UB White which requires Digiace Clear printed over it, Pre-Digital White can be used ON ITS OWN — no clear bonding layer needed. One screen-printed white pass, then straight to digital inkjet. Fewer screens, fewer print heads, faster production. Optimized for M&R Digital Squeegee and ROQ Hybrid / ROQ Now systems. Prints through mesh up to 160. Cure at 320°F (160°C) for 2-3 minutes. PVC-free. Exceptionally soft hand feel. Low tack. Ready for use — no viscosity modifications needed.

Most digital hybrid workflows require a two-step screen printing process before the digital print head fires: first a white underbase, then a clear bonding layer over it. That means two screens, two print stations, two registration points — just for the foundation.

DS Hybrid Pre-Digital White collapses those two steps into one.

This white underbase is engineered with built-in surface properties that allow digital inks to bond directly to it — no Digiace Clear layer required. Print one screen of Pre-Digital White, move straight to the digital print head, and finish with an optional DS Hybrid Top Coat. Fewer steps. Fewer variables. Faster throughput.
