The Virtuoso SG500 is the printer that made sublimation easy. Is the SG500 good for beginners?

Yes — it’s purpose-built for sublimation with an anti-clog system, genuine SubliJet-UHD ink and easy Print Manager / CreativeStudio software, so you can get great results without the trial-and-error of a converted printer.

What comes with it?

The printer, a starter set of genuine SubliJet-UHD inks, sublimation paper, heat tape, a dust cover, and Sawgrass’ design software. You’ll also need a heat press and blanks.

What size can it print?

Up to 8.5″ × 14″ from the standard tray, and up to 8.5″ × 51″ banners using the optional bypass tray. For larger prints up to 11″ × 17″, see the Sawgrass SG1000.

What about the warranty?

It carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty when you use genuine Sawgrass ink. Using non-genuine ink can void coverage.
