This high-viscosity emulsion delivers strong stencil build and exceptional edge definition while maintaining excellent humidity resistance. NEXUS R-Plus is pre-sensitized and ready to use, and it includes an optional ultra-fast diazo that can be added when enhanced water resistance is required for the most aggressive applications.

How to Use

Mesh Preparation

Start with a clean, dry screen. Degrease thoroughly using a quality degreaser such as those offered by CCI.

Coating Instructions

Use a clean coating trough with a smooth edge.

  1. Apply 1–2 coats of emulsion to the print side.
  2. Flip the screen and apply 1–2 coats to the squeegee side.
  3. Add extra coats if a thicker stencil is desired.

Coating environment should be light-safe with humidity around 65%.

Drying

Dry the screen horizontally, print side down, in a clean, dust-free area.

Recommended conditions:

  • 30–50% humidity
  • Good air circulation

A dehumidifier is helpful for consistent drying results.

Exposure

Always use an exposure calculator to dial in your perfect times. Exposure varies by mesh, coating thickness, lamp type, and film density.

Washout

  1. Lightly spray both sides with water and allow the image area to soften.
  2. Wash the print side until image opens.
