XPD-924D Key Features
Two Epson piezo printheads in a staggered configuration deliver smooth gradations, sharp fine lines, and vibrant color at speeds that single-head printers can’t match. The staggered layout eliminates banding seams and improves uniformity across the full 24.5″ print width.
White ink contains heavy titanium dioxide pigment that settles rapidly when idle. The XPD-924D’s built-in active circulation system keeps white ink continuously moving through the lines — even while the printer is idle — preventing clogs, reducing maintenance, and maximizing uptime.
The XPD-924D’s Dropmaster 2 system automatically aligns both printheads bidirectionally via built-in sensors. Accurate head alignment eliminates the ghosting and double-imaging that plague manual setups, ensuring clean, sharp prints at high speed.
