Key Features

Authentic Rose Gold Tone
Formulated to hit the specific pink-gold hue that defines rose gold — warm, feminine, and premium. Consistent color match across production runs.
Fashion-Forward Appeal
Rose gold is one of the dominant metallic trend colors in women’s fashion, accessories, and lifestyle branding. Printing in rose gold immediately signals contemporary aesthetic awareness.
Premium Perceived Value
Metallic inks in rose gold communicate luxury without the price premium of actual precious metal finishes. Elevated price positioning for custom apparel programs.
Best on Light Garments
Rose gold is formulated for light background printing. On white, cream, blush, and light pink garments, the rose gold metallic reads beautifully. On dark garments, a white underbase is required.
Mix for Custom Pink-Gold Shades
Blend with Metallic Gold to warm the tone, or with a small amount of LB Pink/Coral to shift toward a more saturated rose. Fine-tune to match specific brand metallic standards.
Ready to Use
Stir thoroughly and print directly from the container. No modification required for standard applications.
Pairs Best With
Blend Rose Gold + Metallic Gold to shift between warm rose and standard gold tones for custom brand metallic matching
Tint Crystalina with Rose Gold for a custom rose gold sparkle effect on premium fashion garments

Rose Gold Screen Printing: Fashion, Lifestyle & Brand Applications

Women’s Fashion & Boutique Apparel
Rose gold is a staple color for women’s fashion printing — brand logos, monograms, decorative elements, and graphic type on premium cotton and fashion blanks. The warm metallic tone is particularly effective on white, blush, ivory, and light gray garments.
Beauty, Cosmetic & Wellness Brand Merchandise
Cosmetic brands, skincare companies, and wellness businesses frequently use rose gold as a brand metallic. Printing custom merchandise (tees, tote bags, branded apparel) in rose gold creates direct brand color alignment.
Bridal, Event & Gift Apparel
Bachelorette party shirts, bridesmaid gifts, wedding event merchandise — rose gold is the metallic of choice for feminine celebration apparel. Bold names or graphics in rose gold on white or blush garments produce a gift-ready, premium result.

How to Wash Test Plastisol Prints

Whenever you change ink, mesh count, dryer settings, or substrate — run a wash test before releasing production. This is the only definitive check for cure and wash durability.

Step 1 — Cure a Test Print
Print and cure a test garment at your production dryer settings. Let cool completely before washing.
Step 2 — Wash Hot
Machine wash on the hottest setting with standard detergent. Hot water is the stress test — if it holds here, it holds everywhere.
Step 3 — Repeat 3–5 Cycles
Run 3–5 full wash/dry cycles. Under-cured prints fail in the first 1–3 washes. Properly cured prints show no change.
Step 4 — Inspect
Look for cracking, peeling, delamination, or color change. A properly cured metallic print retains its shine and adhesion. Do a stretch test — pull the print firmly and check for cracking.
If metallic prints dull or lose sheen after washing: This is almost always under-cure. Check actual garment surface temperature with a donut probe or temp tape — not dryer air temp. Increase dwell time before re-testing.
Light Garments Only
Rose gold is formulated for light backgrounds. On dark garments without a white underbase, the rose gold tone will not read correctly. Always test on the specific garment color.
Stir Thoroughly Before Use
Metallic particles settle during storage. Stir from the bottom before each print run.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Does rose gold print on dark garments?
Rose gold has limited opacity on dark fabrics. For dark garments, print and fully cure a white underbase first, then overprint with rose gold. The white base allows the pink-gold tone to read correctly. Without an underbase, the rose gold will appear muddy and indistinct on dark colors.
Can I mix rose gold with other metallic inks?
Yes — blending Rose Gold with Metallic Gold shifts the tone toward a warmer, more saturated gold. Blending with small amounts of standard LB Coral or Pink adds saturation to the pink component. These custom blends are useful for matching specific brand metallic specifications. Mix by weight, test print, and document your formula for repeat consistency.
Is Inktek Rose Gold a standard color match for brand guidelines?
Inktek Rose Gold is formulated to match the broadly recognized rose gold aesthetic rather than a specific Pantone metallic. For brand-critical color matching to a Pantone specification, print test swatches and evaluate against the brand standard. Small adjustments with LB color additions can move the tone as needed.
