Description
The Warm Red Standard.
PMS 485. PMS 032. PMS 200. These are the brand reds and sports reds that define some of the most recognizable logos, teams, and marks in the world. Inktek LBX 48888 Red is the warm red anchor of the LBX Pantone Mixing System — a rich, saturated red that covers the entire warm red family from pure red through red-orange and brick. Part of the 15-color system, it combines with Orange, Magenta, Black, and White to hit any warm red Pantone target with precision. Fully cures at 280°F. Use the free formulator at formulator.screenprintsupplies.com for exact ratios.
Why LBX 48888 Red?
LBX Red covers the warm side of the red spectrum — the pure reds, red-oranges, and brick tones that anchor brand identities across sports, retail, and corporate apparel. PMS 485, 032, 200, 1795 — these all start with LBX Red as the dominant base.
Add LBX Orange to shift toward warm red-orange and brick. Add LBX Black to deepen toward burgundy and maroon. Add LBX White to lighten toward pastel red and dusty rose. The formulator handles every combination.
Full cure at 280°F means safe use on polyester, tri-blends, and athletic wear — the primary substrates for the sports and team apparel market where red brand colors are among the most requested in screen printing.
Smooth, stable body from 86 to 160 mesh. Doesn’t shift in consistency in a warm pressroom. Flashes cleanly without ghosting — consistent on long runs of sports and brand apparel.

Warm Red Pantone Targets LBX Red Helps You Hit
PMS 485, 032, 179 — the benchmark brand reds used by major sports leagues, retailers, and global brands. LBX Red is the primary base for all of them.
PMS 200, 201, 186 — the classic athletic red family; mix LBX Red + small amounts of Black to deepen toward cardinal and crimson.
PMS 1665, 1675, 7526 — warm brick and terracotta tones; mix LBX Red + LBX Orange for the red-orange and warm earth-red range.
PMS 209, 188, 7421 — deep burgundy and maroon tones; mix LBX Red + LBX Black for the full dark warm-red family.
LBX Red handles warm reds (PMS 485, 032, 200). LBX Magenta handles cool reds (Rhodamine Red, Rubine Red, pinks). Using the wrong base produces an incorrect result. Use the free formulator to determine which base anchors your Pantone target.
Red Pantone targets are brand-critical — customers notice when their red is off. Always weigh every component on a gram scale accurate to 0.1g. Mix more than you need to avoid batch variation mid-job.
