Application Guidelines

On-Press Use (Plastisol):
Spray directly onto the screen with a low-pressure sprayer or apply using a saturated cloth. Wipe in a circular motion until ink is removed. Allow to fully evaporate before resuming printing.

Water-Based Ink Use:
Start with a 2:8 dilution (press wash to water). In some setups, 1:9 may be more effective. Adjust based on ink system and press conditions.

Directions for Use – Chromaline Textile Press Wash iSC

For Plastisol Inks:

  1. Apply press wash directly to the screen using a low-pressure sprayer or a clean, saturated wiping cloth.
  2. Wipe the inked area in a circular motion until the ink has cleared.
  3. Allow the screen to fully evaporate before resuming printing.

For Water-Based Inks:

  1. Dilute Textile Press Wash at a ratio of 2 parts Press Wash to 8 parts water.
    1. In some cases, a weaker solution (1 part Press Wash to 9 parts water) may be more effective.
  1. Apply the diluted solution to the screen with a sprayer or wiping cloth.
  2. Wipe in a circular motion to remove ink.
  3. Allow the screen to air dry completely before continuing production or storage.

Tips:

  • Always test your dilution ratio when using with water-based inks, as different ink systems may respond differently.
