Most screen wash products are formulated for screens. Chroma/Squeegee Wash iSC is formulated for the specific demands of automatic squeegee and floodbar cleaning systems. The chemistry is built around the mechanical wash cycles these systems use — high-efficiency ink emulsification, reduced wash cycles needed per clean, lower VOC exposure for your press room operators, and less oily residue left on tools that would otherwise contaminate your next print run. How to Use Chroma/Squeegee Wash iSC
Automatic Systems — Standard Use
Load Chroma/Squeegee Wash iSC into your automatic squeegee cleaner per the manufacturer’s instructions. The formulation is optimized for the mechanical wash and rinse cycles of Zentner, M&R, and similar systems.
Manual Application — Squeegees
Apply Chroma/Squeegee Wash iSC to the squeegee blade. Work the product along the full blade length with a scrub pad or rag to break down ink deposits. Rinse with water until residue-free.
Manual Application — Flood Bars
Apply to both sides of the flood bar. Scrub ink deposits with a non-abrasive pad. Rinse thoroughly with water. Inspect for residue before returning to press.
System Maintenance
For best results in recirculating squeegee cleaners, monitor solution saturation. Replace when the wash solution becomes too heavily loaded with ink solids to maintain cleaning efficiency.
