Technical Specifications
How to Use Inktek Adhesive Transfer Powder for Screen Printing Transfers:
Step 1: Print the Mirror Image
- Screen print the reverse (mirror) image onto transfer paper.
Step 2: Apply the Adhesive Powder
- Generously sift Inktek Transfer Powder over the entire printed design.
- Lift the transfer by the edge to let excess powder fall off.
- Tap the back of the paper gently to ensure only the printed image is coated.
Step 3: Gel Cure the Transfer
- Gel cure the transfer at 240°F until the ink is set but not fully cured.
Step 4: Apply the Transfer to the Substrate
- Preheat the substrate for 2-4 seconds to remove excess moisture.
- Press the transfer at 350°F for 10 seconds with medium pressure (35-40 psi).
- Allow the paper to cool before peeling for best results.
🔹 For caps or non-washable items, apply at 300°F to maximize detail and opacity.
