Screen Printing Mesh

Screen printing mesh (also called screen fabric or bolting cloth) is the woven polyester material stretched over a frame to create your printing screen. Mesh count — measured in threads per inch — determines how much ink passes through and how much detail the screen can hold. We carry white and yellow (dyed) mesh from 60 to 355+, available by the yard or full roll. 86–110 mesh for thick specialty inks and underbases. 155–160 mesh for general t-shirt printing. 200–230 mesh for halftones and water-based inks. 305 mesh for high-resolution process printing. Yellow mesh reduces light scatter for sharper stencils.
