The 451FA is for applications where full-width adhesion matters more than the split-zone design. Taping further into the screen interior, print-side blockout, or masking large areas of a wood frame β these call for complete adhesive coverage that the split zone can’t provide. The 451FA delivers exactly that.

When you need to extend coverage beyond the frame edge deeper into the screen interior, full-width adhesion holds without a non-adhesive gap that could allow ink migration.
Print-Side Application
Applying tape to the print side of a screen as a blockout requires full adhesion across the entire width. The non-adhesive zone on the 451 Split Tape isn’t appropriate for print-side use β 451FA is the right choice.
Wood Frame Masking
Wood frames with wide interior channels sometimes require full-width adhesion to seal properly, especially when taping sections that the split-zone blue area would leave unbonded.
