How to Apply PMI 380 to Your Platen

Step 1 — Clean the Platen

Ensure the platen is clean and free of old adhesive or residue.

Step 2 — Cut & Apply

Cut to fit your platen. Peel the backing and apply from one end, working out bubbles.

Step 3 — Smooth & Press

Use a squeegee or firm hand pressure to bond fully with no bubbles or lifted edges.

Step 4 — Print & Replace

Place garments on the tacky surface and print. When tack diminishes, peel off and apply a fresh strip.

Will it damage my platen?

PMI 380 is designed to peel cleanly off platen surfaces. When it’s time to replace, peel from a corner. No solvent or scraping should be required on a clean platen.
