Description

The Tool That Makes 2-Minute Panel Swaps Possible

The ECO Frame’s no-adhesive panel system is brilliant engineering. But it only works because of this stretching tool. Without it, you cannot seat the locking strip properly into the frame channel or apply even tension across all four sides of the mesh. It is the bridge between a panel sitting next to your press and a properly tensioned screen ready to coat and print.

How the Stretching Tool Works

1️⃣ Step 1 — Seat the Locking Strip

Press the panel’s plastic locking strip into the frame channel on one side of the frame. The stretching tool helps firmly seat the strip into the channel so it locks in place without slipping during tensioning of the opposite sides.

2️⃣ Step 2 — Apply Even Tension

Work around all four sides of the frame, using the stretching tool to pull the mesh taut and lock each strip into its channel. The tool’s geometry is specifically designed to apply the correct force angle for the ECO Frame’s locking mechanism — you cannot replicate this with improvised tools.

3️⃣ Step 3 — Verify with Tension Meter

Once all four strips are seated and locked, use the Nortech Tension Meter to verify tension in Newtons per centimeter at multiple points across the screen. Consistent, verified tension is what separates a properly tensioned screen from one that will cause registration problems and uneven ink deposit.
