Description

Infinity Series Orange 021 — Ready for Use, No Base, No Software

Infinity Series Orange 021 is a complete ink. Open the container and print.

The Infinity Color Series is a comprehensive RFU mixing system — every color is ready for use straight from the bucket OR can be blended with other Infinity colors to create custom Pantone® shades. Follow the formulas in your Pantone Formula Guide directly — no CMS software, no computer, no pigment calculations. Weigh on a gram scale, mix, and print.

Blend with Yellow 012 for amber/marigold. Blend with Warm Red for burnt orange/vermillion. Add Trans White for peach/salmon pastels.

How to Match Pantone® Colors — Book Formulas, No Software

Step 1: Customer selects a Pantone color from your Pantone Formula Guide.

Step 2: Open the book to that color. The formula is printed right there — showing which colors to mix and at what ratios by weight.

Step 3: Weigh Infinity colors on a gram scale per the formula. Mix thoroughly in a clean container.

Step 4: Print a test swatch on your actual garment. Compare to the Pantone page. Adjust if needed. Run production.

On Light Garments — Direct Print

Print Infinity Orange 021 directly on white or light-colored garments. No underbase needed on white. Semi-opaque formulation with matte surface appearance and ultra-soft hand feel. Cotton, cotton-poly blends, and polyester (with blocker).

On Dark Garments — Over White Underbase

On dark garments, print a white underbase first (flash-cure it), then print Infinity Orange 021 on top. Use Under Base Blocker Gray (dark cotton) or Under Base Blocker Black LG (dark polyester/blends) under the white to prevent dye migration. Or use print-flash-print (two hits with a flash in between) for added opacity without a blocker.

Recommended Additives

Additive Dosage Production Problem It Solves
Retarder MG 1-3% Ink drying in the screen — extends open time.
Fixer WF-N 1-3% Improved wash fastness.
Softener MG 1-5% Better fabric penetration and softer hand feel.
Thickener B 0.25-1% Ink too thin — thickens viscosity.
RV Additive 1-3% Ink too thick — reduces viscosity.
Fixer L 1-3% Low-curing fabrics or electric dryers.
Quick Additive 6-9% All-in-one — Retarder MG + Fixer WF-N + Softener MG. One additive, three benefits. Recommended for most jobs.

Infinity Series vs. Alpha Series — What Is the Difference?

Spec Infinity Series (This Product) Alpha Series

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a separate base to print Infinity Orange 021?

NO. Infinity Series inks are ready-for-use (RFU) — complete inks that print directly from the container. No base, no pigment calculations, no mixing software.

How do I match a Pantone® color?

Open your Pantone Formula Guide to the desired color. Follow the printed formula using Infinity Series colors and a gram scale. No software needed.

Can I print it on dark garments?

Yes — print over a white underbase with appropriate blocker. Or use print-flash-print for added opacity. Note: Infinity Series is NOT dischargeable — if you need discharge capability on dark cotton, use the Alpha Series instead.

Can I blend it with other Infinity colors?

Yes — all 16 Infinity colors can be blended in any combination. Blend with Yellow 012 for amber/marigold. Blend with Warm Red for burnt orange/vermillion. Add Trans White for peach/salmon pastels.

What is the difference between Infinity and Alpha Series?

Both are RFU mixing systems that use Pantone book formulas with no software. The key difference: Alpha Series is dischargeable (add activator for dark 100% cotton). Infinity Series is water-based only — it cannot discharge. Choose Alpha if you need discharge capability. Choose Infinity for water-based-only workflow with matte finish.

Can I use it on polyester?

Yes — with Under Base Blocker to prevent dye migration. On 100% cotton and cotton-poly blends, no blocker is needed on light garments.

What mesh should I use?

Up to 305 mesh.

What additives should I use?

Use Quick Additive (6-9%) for an all-in-one solution. Or individual additives: Retarder MG (1-3%), Fixer WF-N (1-3%), Softener MG (1-5%). Adjust viscosity with Thickener B (0.25-1%) or RV Additive (1-3%).
