Description

More Footage, Same 13-Inch Width — Better Economics Per Print

The 13×100 2″ roll is the high-volume version of the 13×75 — same width, same core size, 25 more feet. For shops printing film daily on the Epson P400, P600, or P700 with the 13-inch roll attachment, the 100-foot roll means fewer roll changes, lower cost-per-positive, and uninterrupted production runs. The 2″ core seats flush in these printers’ roll feeders for consistent tension and registration from the first print to the last. If you know the 13×75 format works for your setup, step up to the 100-foot roll for better economics.

100-Foot Roll Economy
More footage per roll directly reduces cost-per-positive. At 100 feet vs. 75 feet, you get more output per roll investment — and fewer interruptions to change rolls.
2″ Core for P-Series Printers
The 2″ core is the correct spindle fit for the Epson P400 roll feeder and P600/P700 roll adapters. Correct core sizing eliminates feed wander and keeps registration tight.
Consistent Density Roll-to-Roll
AccuJet’s manufacturing consistency means the DMAX on foot 95 of a roll matches foot 5 — no density dropoff as you work through the roll.
Waterproof From First Print to Last
Chromaline’s coating holds up across the full 100-foot roll. No degradation in coating performance as the roll ages in production.
Reduced Downtime
Fewer roll changes means your film output station runs longer between interruptions — relevant in a production environment where stopping to change rolls breaks workflow.
Same Quality as Sheets
Roll format AccuJet uses the same coating technology as AccuJet sheets. DMAX up to 4.0, DMIN 0.12, fast dry, waterproof. Format doesn’t compromise film performance.

13×75 vs. 13×100 — Which Roll Is Right for Your Shop?

The Case for 13×75
The 75-foot roll is a good entry point into roll-format film production. Lower upfront cost, easier storage, and manageable roll changes for shops that aren’t printing film continuously.
The Case for 13×100
At higher production volume, the 100-foot roll’s lower per-foot cost and reduced roll-change frequency make it the better choice. If you’re consistently printing through a 75-foot roll in less than a week, step up to the 100.
Cost Math
The 13×100 roll offers more footage at a lower per-foot cost than the 13×75 — a straightforward calculation that favors the 100-foot roll in any production environment where volume supports it.

Compatible Printers for 13 inch inkjet film roll screen printing

Epson SureColor P400
The P400 with its roll attachment is the primary printer for this format. The 2″ core seats correctly in the P400 spindle for proper feed and registration.
Epson SureColor P600 (with Roll Adapter)
The P600 with optional roll adapter handles 13-inch 2″-core rolls with better ink density than the P400 thanks to its pigment ink system.
Epson SureColor P700 (with Roll Adapter)
Current-generation 13-inch professional printer. Handles 2″-core roll media via optional roll attachment with excellent density output.

Who Uses 13 inch inkjet film roll screen printing

High-Volume 13-Inch Film Output
Shops printing film positives daily who have validated the 13-inch roll format will find the 100-foot roll more economical than continuous 75-foot rolls.
Shops Minimizing Roll Changes
In a production environment, fewer roll changes keep the workflow moving. The 100-foot roll runs longer between changes than the 75-foot.
P400 Shops Ready to Optimize Costs
If you’re already running AccuJet 13×75 on a P400 and happy with the results, the 13×100 is the natural upgrade for better per-roll economics.
🔲 Mesh Count Range
AccuJet film is compatible with mesh counts from 34 to 355 mesh. Use lower mesh counts (34–86) for heavy specialty inks and high-coverage work; mid-range (110–160) for standard plastisol production; high mesh (200–355) for fine halftones, process printing, and water-based or discharge applications.
⏱ Exposure Time
Exposure time varies based on your emulsion type, coating thickness, mesh count, and light source. Always run a step-wedge test with your specific emulsion setup. Check your emulsion’s spec sheet → for manufacturer starting points.

Roll Footage Calculator

Estimated number of prints from a 13″ × 100′ roll based on print height. Add ~½″ gap between prints for cut lines.

Print Height Estimated Prints Total Output
6″ ~200 prints 18.1 sq ft of output
8″ ~150 prints 13.5 sq ft of output
10″ ~120 prints 10.8 sq ft of output
12″ ~100 prints 9.0 sq ft of output
14″ ~85 prints 7.7 sq ft of output
18″ ~66 prints 6.0 sq ft of output

Estimates are approximate. Actual yield depends on print height, inter-print gap, and any wasted leader footage at roll start/end.

AccuJet film performs best as part of a complete system: the right ink formulated for film output, RIP software that maximizes density, and the right emulsion for your press work. River City Supply carries everything.

🖨️
CADlink FilmMaker RIP Software
We recommend using CADlink FilmMaker with every AccuJet film setup. FilmMaker controls ink limits, linearization, and channel output to push AccuJet to its maximum DMAX — producing denser, more accurate positives than any standard driver. It also eliminates the color management guesswork that causes under-inked or over-inked film.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the 13×75 and 13×100 rolls?
Same width, same 2″ core, same coating — 25 more feet per roll. The 13×100 offers a lower cost-per-foot and fewer roll changes for shops with higher production volume.
Is the 13×100 compatible with the Epson P400?
Yes, the 13×100 2″ core roll is compatible with the Epson P400 (with roll media attachment) the same as the 13×75. The 2″ core seats correctly in the P400 spindle.
How many prints does 100 feet give me?
At 10 inches per print, approximately 120 prints. At 12 inches, approximately 100 prints. Actual yield depends on your design height and whether you include gap between prints.
Can I use the same printer settings for the 100-foot roll as the 75-foot roll?
Yes. The roll dimensions don’t affect printer settings. Use the same media type, print quality, and ink settings you’ve calibrated for AccuJet on your printer.
Do I need to set a specific roll length in my printer driver?
Most printer drivers and RIP software have settings for roll media length. Set the roll length to 100 feet when loading a fresh roll so the printer correctly tracks remaining media.
Does River City Supply ship same day?
Yes. Orders placed before 3:30 PM CT Monday–Friday ship same day. Free shipping on orders over $200.
