Source Capture — The Right Way to Handle Spot Cleaning Fumes

There are two approaches to dealing with solvent fumes: ambient air filtration (clean the whole room after fumes spread) and source capture (intercept fumes before they reach the breathing zone). Source capture is dramatically more effective. The TT-250’s high-CFM blower creates negative pressure at the work surface, drawing fumes down through the mesh screen and out through the 4″ side vent before they can rise into the operator’s breathing zone. CCI designed this specifically as “the affordable answer to exposure and compliance problems in the spot cleaning process.”

Dual Function: Fume Extraction + Fabric Drying

The blower that extracts fumes also drives brisk air movement across the garment. This same airflow dries the fabric during the spot cleaning process, speeding up the job and reducing the time each garment spends on the station. Faster dry time = faster throughput on rework = less backlog on rejected garments. You get two functions from a single mechanism with no additional setup.

Turns Misprints into Salvaged Garments

Every misprint that goes to the waste bin represents the full cost of the blank plus labor plus ink. A dedicated spot cleaning station gives you the ability to correct misprints, ink splatter, and blemishes before they become lost inventory. On a shop that prints any significant volume, the TT-250 pays for itself quickly through recovered garments that would otherwise be written off.

Two Built-In 115V Outlets

The TT-250 includes two built-in 115V power outlets. This means your spot cleaning gun and any additional accessories — like lighting or a compressed air line timer — plug directly into the station with no extension cords or separate power strip required. The workstation is self-contained and ready to use.

At 22 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 10 inches tall, the TT-250 fits on a standard workbench without displacing other equipment. Large Angled Work Screen for All Apparel

The TT-250 features a large screen with an angled arm that allows cleaning of all types of apparel — t-shirts, hoodies, polos, jackets, and other garments of varying sizes and weights. The angled design positions the garment over the suction zone for maximum fume capture efficiency during cleaning.

Converts to Floor-Standing with Leg Kit

The TT-250 is designed as a modular system. The optional Leg Kit converts the tabletop unit into a freestanding floor station at a comfortable working height, freeing up bench space and improving ergonomics for extended spot cleaning sessions or high-volume rework. The Arm & Balancer Kit further reduces operator fatigue by supporting the weight of the spot cleaning gun during use.
