The Vastex E-200 (21×28) is a compact LED exposure unit with true vacuum draw-down — a lid with a vacuum pump pulls the film and screen into tight contact for razor-sharp stencils. Three 18″ LED bars expose a 15″×18″ image on screens up to 21″×28″, controlled by a one-touch angled panel. Exposes any emulsion as fast as metal halide at about 20% the power, with 50,000+ hour LEDs. 120V or 240V.

Vastex E-200 (21×28) — Vacuum-Contact LED Exposure, Compact Footprint

The E-200 adds a true vacuum draw-down — a lid with a vacuum pump — that pulls your positive and mesh together for crisp detail and clean halftones, in a compact tabletop unit. What is the Vastex E-200 (21×28)?

A compact LED exposure unit with a vacuum lid that draws film and screen into tight contact for sharp stencils, sized for screens up to 21″×28″.

Why does vacuum draw-down matter?

Tight film-to-screen contact is what gives you crisp edges and clean halftones. The vacuum lid removes the air gap that a simple pressure pad can leave.

How is it different from the E-20?

The E-20 uses a pressure plate and exposes up to 20×24. The E-200 adds a true vacuum lid and a one-touch panel for sharper, more repeatable burns.

What about the 23×31 model?

The E-200 23×31 is the same idea with three 30″ bars for larger screens up to 23×31.

What emulsions can it expose?

Any emulsion, and it’s resistant to plastisol, water-based and solvent inks.
