Epson OEM inks are optimized for color photo output, not UV-blocking. Standard inks let UV light through, resulting in underexposed or blurry stencils.
Do I need RIP software?
RIP software (such as CADlink FilmMaker) is strongly recommended. The standard Windows/Mac printer driver cannot force all 8 ink channels to output simultaneously at full density. FilmMaker RIP does this, along with halftone control and separation output — giving you the densest possible positives.
What film should I use with the P400 and AccuInk?
Chromaline AccuJet Waterproof Inkjet Film is the recommended media. It’s available in letter, tabloid, and 13×19 sheet sizes — perfectly matched to the P400’s maximum output width.
Is a chip resetter required?
