Matsui Soft-Tex Overprint 680 is the last screen in the print sequence. After all your ink colors are printed and cured, print Overprint 680 over the finished design for a silicone-like surface finish that adds an exceptionally soft, smooth hand feel to any water-based or discharge print.
Soft-Tex Overprint 680 is a top-coating binder applied as the FINAL step after all other ink layers are printed and cured. It is not a color ink — it is a finish coat that changes the surface quality of the print.
Creates a silicone-like printing surface feel over the finished print area — soft, smooth, and with the premium tactile quality that silicone ink systems produce — without requiring the specialized equipment and ink systems that true silicone printing demands.
Print through 135 mesh (53/cm) for an even, consistent overprint layer. The 135 mesh deposits enough overprint material to create the silicone-like surface without an excessive buildup.
Slightly longer cure time than most Matsui inks — 3 minutes at 320F (160C). This longer cure ensures the overprint fully crosslinks and bonds to the underlying ink layers.
