EasyReflective® Silver 20″ is a bright silver retroreflective that stays sleek and gray in daylight, then lights up brilliant white under headlights and flashlights — on a wide 20″ roll built for large production runs and full-size graphics. It is built for high-visibility apparel — safety uniforms, workwear, running and cycling gear, team and school wear, and kids’ clothes that need to be seen after dark. Sold 20″ wide by the yard, it cuts and weeds with a sticky carrier and presses in one step at 305°F for a durable, wash-tough bond on cotton, polyester and blends.

EasyReflective applies in one step, just like standard HTV. Here is the whole process:

1 · Design & cut (mirrored)

Create your design and mirror it. Load EasyReflective with the shiny reflective side down, sticky carrier up and cut through the vinyl only.

2 · Weed the extra

Peel away the vinyl you do not need. The pressure-sensitive carrier holds fine detail in place for clean, easy weeding.

3 · Press & warm peel

Press at 305°F for 15 seconds with medium pressure, wait a few seconds, then warm peel the carrier.

Cut EasyReflective reflective side down (sticky carrier up) and mirror your design. Below are Siser’s recommended EasyReflective settings for popular machines, including the Siser Juliet® 12″ and Siser Romeo® 24″.

Cut reflective side down & mirror your design. EasyReflective is thicker than standard HTV (150–170 microns), so run a test cut and bump force slightly if it does not cut clean. These are suggested starting points — fine-tune for your blade, cutting strip and mat wear.

Heat Press & Pressing Instructions

Heat Press

Preheat the garment 2–3 seconds to remove moisture
Temperature: 305°F / 150°C
Press with medium pressure for 15 seconds
Wait a few seconds, then warm peel the carrier
If any area lifts, re-cover and press again 5–10 seconds

Home Iron

Set the iron between the Cotton and Linen setting
Use a firm, flat surface (not an ironing board)
Cover with Kraft paper or a cover sheet
Apply medium-firm pressure without sliding, 10–15 seconds per section
Warm peel the carrier; re-press if needed

Works on

100% cotton, 100% polyester, poly/cotton blends and nylon (test first). Not recommended for treated or dye-sublimated fabrics.

Wash & care

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Machine wash cold (max 40°C), inside-out; tumble dry on a synthetic cycle. Do not dry clean or bleach.

Siser EasyReflective® HTV – Frequently Asked Questions

How does EasyReflective work?

Microscopic glass beads are embedded in the vinyl. They bounce light straight back to its source, so your design lights up bright when a headlight or flashlight hits it — while looking like a normal color in daylight.

Is it sold by the yard?

Yes. EasyReflective is sold by the yard in 5, 10, 25 and 50-yard rolls. Silver comes in both 12″ and 20″ widths; Dark Gray, Rainbow Black and Aqua come in 12″.

What cutter settings should I use?

On the Siser Juliet® and Romeo®: 45° blade, Force 5–10, Offset 0.250, Speed 10. Cut reflective side down and mirror your design. It is thicker than standard HTV, so test cut and add a little force if needed.

What temperature and time do I press at?

Press at 305°F / 150°C with medium pressure for 15 seconds, then warm peel the carrier. Preheat the garment 2–3 seconds first. Re-press 5–10 seconds if any edge lifts.

Is it a warm or cold peel?

Warm peel. Let the press cool for a few seconds, then peel the carrier while it is still warm.

What fabrics does it work on?

Cotton, polyester, poly/cotton blends and nylon (test first). It is not recommended for treated or dye-sublimated fabrics.

Is it safety-rated?

EasyReflective Silver meets EN ISO 20471 for high-visibility workwear and safety clothing. All EasyReflective is CPSIA, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and REACH certified.

How do I wash it?
