Its high-solvency formula cuts through plastisol, solvent-based, UV, and vinyl ink — fresh or dried — directly on the press without stopping production. Residue-free and fast-drying, the mesh clears in a few squeegee passes and printing continues with no registration loss and no film left behind.

Use CCI Blast while the screen is still on press. No need to break registration, lift the screen off, or halt the run. Spray, make a few passes, and production continues — exactly as it should.

How to Use CCI Blast On-Press

Step 1 — Spot the Clog

Notice dropout or streaking in a specific image area — ink has dried in the mesh at that spot.

Step 2 — Squeegee Pass

Make a normal pass, leaving the screen in the print position. Do not lift or remove.

Step 3 — Spray Blast

Hold 6–8 inches from the clogged area and spray directly. Hold a rag below if spraying overhead to catch drips.

Step 4 — Clear & Resume

Make 2–3 more squeegee passes. Mesh clears and printing resumes — no lost registration, no residue, no downtime.

All three are on-press, residue-free screen openers. CCI Blast’s advantage is UV and vinyl ink compatibility. The 1641 Clear uses a water-free aromatic formula. The 1634 Citrus is the aroma-friendly choice. Choose Blast for multi-ink-system shops; choose 1634 when scent matters.

How do I prevent nozzle clogging?

After each use, invert the can and spray against scrap paper until only clean air flows. This clears the valve and keeps the nozzle ready for the next session.
