The defining feature of Starling. Tested and validated by Avery Dennison on glass, porcelain, and stainless steel, Starling holds up through up to 80 dishwasher cycles on the top rack with heat dry. Avery Dennison internally tested Starling’s weeding performance against other leading calendered films — and the improvement over standard EasyPSV Permanent is significant. Modern Matte Finish (Most Colors)
By popular demand, Siser made most Starling colors matte — flat, non-reflective, and contemporary in a way the previous EasyPSV Permanent gloss couldn’t offer. 3–6 Year Outdoor + Saltwater Resistance
Starling is rated for 3–6 years of outdoor durability and adds saltwater resistance that the previous EasyPSV Permanent did not claim. How to Apply — Step by Step
Place Starling liner-side down in your cutter. DO NOT reverse or mirror your design. Recommended settings: 45°/60° blade, force 5–15, offset 0.250, speed 10. Always run a test cut on a corner before full production.
Starling’s improved weeding performance makes fine script, small text, and intricate graphic elements lift cleanly from the liner. Use a weeding hook for internal cutouts. Starling’s film flexibility reduces tearing on tight detail work.
Remove the paper liner from your application tape and place it over the weeded Starling design. Burnish firmly with a squeegee from center out. Lift the tape — the Starling design comes with it, away from the Starling liner.
Clean with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Dry completely. For drinkware and glassware, thorough surface prep is critical — oils beneath the adhesive reduce dishwasher cycle longevity significantly.
Position the tape on your surface, burnish firmly, then peel at a low angle. Allow 72 hours before first dishwasher cycle or outdoor exposure.
