Presto 6171 — The Sign Shop’s Everyday Application Tape
Presto Tape 6171 is an economically priced, embossed clear polypropylene film with a medium-tack acrylic adhesive, engineered for the clean pick-up and transfer of cut vinyl lettering and printed graphics. It goes down wrinkle-free, leaves no residue or oil, and is color-coded for fast tack-level identification.
As an all-purpose transfer tape, the 6171 covers the majority of sign-making jobs and is excellent for use with digital and inkjet graphics — making it the best film choice for most sign shops. This roll is 24″ wide × 100 yards.

2. Lay the 6171 over the design and squeegee firmly.
3. Flip and remove the vinyl backing.
4. Position on your substrate, squeegee, and peel the tape away at a sharp angle.
