Stabil Sport Cutaway is a premium woven embroidery stabilizer engineered to deliver maximum support for thin, stretchy, and high-performance fabrics. Designed specifically for moisture-wicking materials and multi-directional knits, Stabil Sport controls fabric movement while maintaining a soft feel that improves garment comfort after washing.

This cutaway backing provides excellent stitch stability for performance apparel such as athletic shirts, compression wear, and technical fabrics. Unlike standard non-woven stabilizers, the woven construction resists distortion and helps keep outlines crisp and registration tight. Stabil Sport softens after laundering, making it ideal for garments worn close to the skin.

For designs with very high stitch counts, dense fills, or intricate outlining, additional stabilization can be achieved by hooping or floating a Medium Soft Tearaway alongside the Stabil Sport during embroidery.
