Hotronix® Power Platen™ is an innovative heated lower platen designed to eliminate scorching on heat-sensitive fabrics while improving transfer performance. By applying controlled heat from below, the Power Platen allows you to reduce the temperature on the upper platen — protecting delicate materials while maintaining strong transfer adhesion.
For decorators working with polyester, performance wear, nylon, tri-blends, and athletic fabrics, scorching and press marks are common challenges. The Power Platen solves this by distributing heat evenly from the bottom, enabling lower top platen temperatures and minimizing shine or fabric damage.
Whether you’re applying DTF transfers, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), plastisol transfers, or specialty films, this heated platen upgrade improves consistency and protects premium garments.
