Description

Siser Romeo — 24″ High-Definition Cutter

Professional Vinyl Cutting in a Desktop Footprint

All the precision and pre-installed Siser cut settings of the Juliet — doubled to 24 inches of cutting width. Romeo is Siser’s flagship desktop cutter, built for production HTV shops, decal manufacturers, and decorators who need to cut wider designs than a 12″ cutter allows. Same engine, same Leonardo Design Studio, same Siser support — just twice the cutting width.

What Makes Romeo Different

Pre-Installed Siser Material Settings

Touch screen comes pre-loaded with dozens of cut settings for every Siser HTV line — EasyWeed, Glitter, Holographic, Stretch, StripFlock, Brick, Hi-5, and more — plus EasyPSV decal vinyl. Pick the material, hit Cut. Zero guesswork. You can also save your own custom settings for any material.

Built-In Registration Camera

High-resolution camera mounted on the cutter head reads registration marks for print-and-cut workflows. Print your design with any inkjet or laser printer, drop it in the cutter, and it contour-cuts with pinpoint accuracy. Full-color decals, stickers, and DTF transfer cuts all work out of the box.

0.01mm Cutting Precision & 800g Force

Pinpoint accuracy down to one-hundredth of a millimeter, with 800gf of cutting force — significantly more downforce than craft-tier cutters. Cuts the finest text, smallest detail, and most intricate designs cleanly through everything Siser makes.

WiFi + USB Connectivity

Connect wirelessly to your PC or Mac via WiFi for cable-free workflow — or use the included USB cable for direct connection. Send jobs to the cutter from anywhere in the shop. Compatible with Windows 8.1+ and macOS 10.15+.

60% Faster, ~50% Quieter

Advanced motor design cuts up to 60% faster than competing desktop cutters at roughly half the noise level (<78dB operation, <48dB standby). Run it next to your workspace — no grinding noise, no household disruption.

Cuts With or Without a Mat

12″ × 12″ High Tack cutting mat included for sheets and small materials. Or load roll material directly and cut matless — up to 24″ wide × 180″ long. Adjustable pinch rollers let you use the full cutter width however you load it.

Touch Screen + On-the-Fly Adjustments

Sleek touch screen interface for navigating menus, picking material presets, and adjusting force, speed, blade depth, and even cut starting point in real time. Includes a built-in Test Cut feature — verify settings on a small swatch before committing your full sheet.

Marker Adapter Included — Draw & Sketch

Beyond cutting. The included Marker Adapter holds Siser Sublimation Markers (or any compatible drawing utensil) so you can plot, draw, sketch, calligraphy, and create perfect single-line designs directly from Leonardo Design Studio.

Built-In LED Carriage Lights

Illuminated carriage track makes it easy to monitor cuts in low-light shop environments and verify alignment during long print-and-cut runs. Romeo-exclusive feature.

Variable Grit Rollers + Open Workspace

Variable grit rollers grip a wider range of media weights and thicknesses than standard pinch rollers — better for production environments handling lots of different stock. Open-workspace design accommodates rolls up to 180″ long.

What Romeo Cuts

Romeo handles virtually any material a desktop cutter should — and the pre-installed Siser settings make it especially fast for HTV and decal work. The included blades cover most jobs; specialty media (thick chipboard, leather) may need the 60° blade or specialty bladeholders.

All Siser HTV
EasyWeed, EasyWeed Stretch, Glitter, Holographic, Brick, StripFlock, Hi-5, Reflective, EasySubli — every Siser HTV line has pre-installed cut settings.
Siser EasyPSV Decal Vinyl
EasyPSV Starling, Permanent, Removable, Glitter, Brick, Sparkle — same pre-installed settings approach.
Cardstock & Paper
Greeting cards, scrapbooking, paper crafts, invitations, gift tags, party favors.
Sticker Paper & Vinyl
Printable sticker sheets, full-color decals with print-and-cut. Combine with application tape for clean decal transfers.
Craft Foam
Foam shapes, kids crafts, sensory projects, classroom materials.
Fabric (with mat)
Fabric appliqué, no-sew designs, quilting templates.
Stencils & Mylar
Reusable stencils for painting, etching, airbrush, sandblast resist.
Smart Materials
Cutting close to the edge of 24″ media is possible matless — useful for cutting full sheet-width designs.
Stock up on Siser HTV and EasyPSV — Romeo’s pre-set materials
All Siser HTV lines (EasyWeed, Glitter, Holographic, Stretch, Brick, StripFlock, Hi-5) and EasyPSV decal vinyl have pre-installed cut settings on the Romeo touch screen.

Who Romeo Is Built For

Production HTV Shops
Cut 24″-wide HTV in a single pass — fleet apparel, full-back graphics, custom event tees in bulk. 800gf force and pre-installed Siser settings keep production moving.
Decal Manufacturers & Sticker Brands
24″ width supports wide-format decals, large-format stickers, and full-color print-and-cut runs that won’t fit a 12″ cutter. Registration camera scales sticker production.
Sign Shops Adding Wide-Format HTV
Already have a Graphtec for sign vinyl? Romeo is the perfect dedicated HTV station — same 24″ working width, Siser-specific workflow advantages, no learning curve for HTV-specific operators.
Apparel Decorators Going Pro
Outgrew your Juliet or Cricut? Romeo doubles your output width without doubling complexity. Same software, same pre-installed settings, same intuitive workflow — just wider.
Vehicle Wrap Pre-Cut Stations
Use Romeo as a feeder cutter for door decals, accent stripes, custom one-offs, and HTV components of wrap projects. Saves wear on your main commercial plotter.
Etsy/Shopify Brands Scaling Up
When 12″ stops being enough but $2,000 commercial is too much — Romeo bridges that gap at ~$599-$699.

Siser Juliet vs Siser Romeo — Side-by-Side Comparison

Juliet and Romeo share the same precision engine, the same Siser cut settings, the same Leonardo Design Studio software, the same 800-gram cutting force, and the same registration camera. The differences are cutting width, footprint, and a few Romeo-only features (LED carriage lights, variable grit rollers).

Which one should you choose?

Pick the Juliet (12″) if your typical work fits in a 12″ wide cut: standard HTV designs, t-shirt graphics, decal sheets up to 12″, paper crafts, and most Etsy-shop production. Saves space on the desk and $200 on the budget. Pick the Romeo (24″) if you cut wider designs: 24″ HTV rolls without splitting, large back graphics, fleet apparel, banner-width signs, wide-format decals, vehicle graphics, paint protection prep. The Romeo also includes LED carriage lighting and variable grit rollers — useful for production environments. Both cut at the same speed, with the same accuracy, using the same software.

Recommended Cut Settings — Siser HTV on Romeo

Official Siser North America recommended starting cut settings for the Romeo 24″ cutter (from siserna.com, updated 07-09-2025). All settings are starting points — adjust based on blade age, cutting strip wear, and material batch. Always run a Test Cut before committing your full sheet.

Pro tip — Adjust force before adjusting blade depth

If your first test cut isn’t clean, Siser recommends increasing cut force before extending the blade further from the housing. A blade exposed about a credit-card’s width is the right starting depth. Force ranges above account for blade wear — start in the middle of the range and adjust up or down.

Recommended Cut Settings — Siser EasyPSV (Decal Vinyl) on Romeo

Official Siser starting cut settings for the Romeo 24″ cutter on the EasyPSV decal vinyl line (from siserna.com). EasyPSV cuts work great with either the 45° or 60° blade — 60° is recommended for finer detail on textured materials.

All EasyPSV settings load directly on Romeo’s touch screen

Romeo’s touch screen comes pre-loaded with every Siser material setting in this table. Tap the material on screen → tap Cut. No spreadsheet to reference, no scrolling through driver menus. Settings sync over WiFi as Siser releases new products.

Your First Cut in 6 Steps

From unboxing to your first finished cut in about 15 minutes. Romeo is genuinely beginner-friendly — most users report being productive on day one.

1
Unbox & Power Up

Place Romeo on a stable surface with 6″ clearance front and back. Plug in the AC adapter, press the power button. The touch screen lights up — you’re ready in 30 seconds.

2
Install the Blade

Insert the 45° blade into the blade housing (pointed side out). Twist the upper screw to expose roughly a credit-card width of blade. Drop the housing into the tool holder and tighten the thumbscrew.

3
Connect via WiFi or USB

On the touch screen: Settings → WiFi → join your network. Or plug in the included USB cable. Install Leonardo Design Studio (free download from Siser) on your PC or Mac.

4
Load Your Material

For HTV: load roll matless, carrier side down, under the pinch rollers. For sheet vinyl/paper: load onto the included High Tack mat first. Position pinch rollers over grit shafts and lower the load lever.

5
Pick Material & Test Cut

On the touch screen: Material → HTV → pick your specific Siser product. The pre-set force and speed load automatically. Hit the Test Cut button. Weed the small test piece — clean cut, intact carrier means you’re ready.

6
Send Your Design & Cut

Open Leonardo Design Studio, load your SVG/PDF/AI design, click Cut. The job sends to Romeo over WiFi or USB and starts cutting immediately. Your first cut takes about 90 seconds end-to-end.

Romeo vs Craft Cutters vs Pro Plotters

Romeo’s sweet spot is the gap between craft cutters (Cricut/Silhouette) and commercial plotters (Graphtec CE-class). Here’s how the three tiers compare on the things that matter for HTV and decal production.

Romeo vs 24″ Alternatives — Where the Value Sits

At ~$599-$699, the Romeo sits squarely between craft-tier 24″ cutters (Silhouette Cameo 5 Pro) and commercial-tier 24″ plotters (Graphtec CE8000-60). Here’s how the value stacks up for an HTV/decal production shop.

Romeo’s value position

For ~$100-200 more than a Silhouette Cameo 5 Pro, you get 60% more cutting force (800gf vs ~500gf), pre-installed Siser cut settings, a built-in registration camera, and free no-subscription software. For roughly $1,200 less than a Graphtec CE8000-60, you give up some commercial-grade build quality but gain Siser-specific workflow advantages that make a real difference if 80%+ of your output is HTV. The Romeo’s sweet spot: HTV decorators doing daily production who don’t need $1,895 of industrial cutter.

Pair Romeo With the Right Accessories

Most Romeo owners pair the cutter with these add-ons for a complete setup. Stock them at order time and save on a separate shipment.

Application Tape (Decals)
For EasyPSV decal transfers — 12″ paper tape, 24″ paper tape, or clear medium-tack film tape.
Siser EasyWeed HTV
The HTV Romeo was designed to cut — EasyWeed rolls and sheets in 50+ colors.
EasyPSV Decal Vinyl
For decals, signage, and printed graphics — EasyPSV Starling, Permanent, Removable.
Replacement Blades & Mats
45° and 60° blades, replacement cutting mats, weeding tools — all cutter accessories.

Setup & Operating Notes

Free Leonardo Design Studio activation
Activate your free Leonardo Design Studio account at the setup link inside the box (or at the Siser website). Single account works for life of the cutter — no renewals.
WiFi setup takes 5 minutes
Connect Romeo to your home/shop WiFi via the touch screen, then pair Leonardo Design Studio. Initial USB setup also works if WiFi setup gives trouble.
Calibrate the blade depth
First-time blade adjustment: expose about a credit-card’s width of blade beyond the housing. Run a Test Cut on the included EasyWeed sample. Adjust force/depth based on results.
Pinch roller positioning matters
The adjustable pinch rollers must be positioned over a grit shaft (not in the gap) and on top of your media. Mis-positioned rollers cause feeding problems and tracking errors.
Cut with or without mat — your choice
Materials with a carrier sheet (HTV, EasyPSV) cut matless beautifully. Anything without a carrier (cardstock, paper, sticker paper) needs the mat. The included 12″×12″ High Tack mat is the default — light-tack and replacement mats are available separately.
Register your warranty
Activate your 1-year Siser North America warranty online after first use — required for service coverage.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Siser Romeo better than a Cricut Maker or Silhouette Cameo?
For HTV and decal production work — yes. Romeo has 0.01mm precision (vs craft-tier accuracy on Cricut/Silhouette), pre-installed cut settings for every Siser material (no guesswork), a built-in registration camera (vs Cricut’s optical sensor), 800gf cutting force (vs ~500gf on most craft cutters), no software subscription (Leonardo Design Studio is free for life — Cricut Design Space charges for premium features), and an open file-format workflow. Cricut/Silhouette excel at hobby crafts and family projects. Romeo is built for people doing real production.
How fast does it ship? Is it in stock?
The Siser Romeo drop-ships direct from Siser North America (Michigan) with FREE UPS Ground shipping in the continental US, and is normally in stock for quick shipping. Lead times can vary slightly week to week. Before placing your order, message us on Tidio chat, call (512) 454-0505, or email [email protected] and we’ll confirm current availability for your zip code.
What’s the difference between the Juliet and the Romeo?
The Juliet (12″) and Romeo (24″) share the same precision engine, same Leonardo Design Studio software, same registration camera, same pre-installed Siser settings, same 800gf cutting force, same 0.01mm precision, same speed, same connectivity, same warranty. The differences: Cutting width (12″ vs 24″), footprint (22″ long vs 36.5″ long), weight (15.5 lbs vs 21 lbs), and price ($399-$499 vs $599-$699). Romeo also adds built-in LED carriage lights and variable grit rollers (production-grade extras). Choose based on your typical cut width — see the side-by-side comparison table on this page for full details.
What materials can it cut?
It ships with pre-installed cut settings for every Siser material — all Siser HTV (EasyWeed, Glitter, Holographic, Stretch, Brick, StripFlock, Hi-5, EasySubli) and EasyPSV decal vinyl. It also cuts cardstock, paper, sticker paper, craft foam, fabric (with mat), stencils, mylar, and magnet sheet beautifully. You can save your own custom settings for any material not in the preset library.
Does Romeo do print-and-cut?
Yes. A high-resolution camera mounted on the cutter head reads registration marks for contour cutting on printed media. Print your design with any inkjet or laser printer (or send out for commercial printing), drop the sheet in the cutter, and it contour-cuts the design with pinpoint accuracy. Full-color decals, stickers, and printed HTV all work out of the box.
Is Leonardo Design Studio really free?
Yes — Leonardo Design Studio is included free with every Romeo purchase, with no subscription, no monthly fee, and no upgrade pressure for the life of the cutter. Leonardo Pro is an optional paid subscription tier for power users who want additional features, but the free Leonardo Design Studio is fully capable for almost every Romeo workflow. Both Windows (8.1+) and macOS (10.15+) versions are included.
Can I use Romeo without WiFi?
Yes. It includes a USB cable for direct wired connection to your PC or Mac. WiFi is convenient if you want to position the cutter away from your computer, but USB works fine for the entire workflow. You can also use a USB flash drive for direct cutting without a computer connection at all.
Does Romeo cut without a mat?
Yes. Matless cutting is one of its standout features. Load roll material (HTV or EasyPSV) directly under the pinch rollers and cut up to 24″ wide × 180″ long. The included 12″×12″ High Tack mat is for sheet materials and items without a carrier sheet (cardstock, paper, sticker paper, craft foam, fabric). HTV and EasyPSV cut matless beautifully because they have a carrier.
Should I get the Juliet instead?
It depends on your typical cut width. If 80%+ of your work fits in a 24″ wide cut, stay with Romeo — you’ll save space and money. If you regularly cut designs wider than 24″, the Juliet (12″) is the better choice. The features are identical otherwise — Romeo just has more cutting width plus a few production-grade extras (LED lights, variable grit rollers).
What’s the warranty on the Romeo?
1 year of parts and service coverage from Siser North America. Registration required online after purchase and installation. Siser also provides ongoing software updates, Leonardo Design Studio tutorials, and a comprehensive learning library at no additional cost.
How loud is the Romeo?
Romeo operates at <78 dB during cutting and <48 dB in standby — roughly half the noise level of competing desktop cutters. You can run it in a home office, living room, or quiet workspace without disrupting conversation or audio. Many users report cutting late at night without waking sleeping family members — a real difference from the loud grinding noise typical of cheap desktop cutters.
Will it work with Adobe Illustrator or Corel files?
Leonardo Design Studio imports SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, and JPG files. Design in Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDRAW, or any other vector tool — export to SVG or PDF — import into Leonardo — cut. Native Leonardo files give you the most control but you’re never locked into Leonardo for design.
Can Romeo draw or sketch as well as cut?
Yes. The included Siser Sublimation Marker Adapter holds Siser Sublimation Markers (and most standard markers) so it can plot, draw, sketch, and calligraph directly from Leonardo Design Studio. Useful for line drawings, hand-lettered designs, calligraphy, single-line illustration work, and prototype design.
What replacement blades and accessories does it use?
It ships with two 45° blades and one 60° blade in a Siser-spec blade housing. Replacement blades, alternate-angle blades, replacement cutting mats (High Tack and Light Tack), and the optional Roll Holder accessory are all stocked in our cutter accessories section. Genuine Siser blades give the best results — third-party blades can affect cut quality and warranty.
Do I need anything else to start using Romeo?
It ships ready to cut. You’ll want to add a few consumables on first order: Siser HTV in your common colors (EasyWeed is the standard starter), EasyPSV decal vinyl if you’re doing decal work, and application tape for transferring decals to the final surface. If you’re doing HTV apparel, you’ll also need a heat press.
